Update and let this be a warning to you.

Blog Update

I’ve neglected all my blogs. There are a number of reasons.

I was at St Nazaire, South France, on the Mediterranean. I used a wifi passcard. This isn’t a secure system, unfortunately. My computer caught a virus and when I returned home, at first I couldn’t get IE or Firefox to work, but Crazy Browser worked. Then, that wouldn’t work and gradually my computer died. It didn’t know that it was a computer anymore! My son managed to save some data, but I lost a great deal of data.

My son re-installed Windows, but it is now Vista instead of XP and I’m having to learn how to use it. Certain things that worked before, don’t now, but I’m coping and gradually improving the situation.

Take this as a warning to always backup. I had planned to buy an external hard disk to save everything on when I returned from St Nazaire, but I was unlucky and got the virus at St Nazaire.

I’ve got a hard disk now and save everything as I go along. It is a very slow process getting things back to ‘normal’ (especially on dial-up).

Focus has been put on setting up Angel Cuddle Publishing on and offline. That isn’t completely done yet but I’m slowly sorting that.

I’ve also been doing some travelling and exploring. I went to London and Bunratty, Ireland. Earlier in the summer, I went to Rome. I plan to visit and explore as many places as I can on this planet, starting with Europe, but setting my sights further afield.

What else has happened?

I was one of the winners in a short story competition, an event run by Jim Green on Facebook, at Creative Writers Hangout. Click here to take a look.

I’ve been nominated for the Just Perfect Award at Adlandpro.  This isn’t the first time I’ve been nominated. I guess I’ll have to work on being more perfect, if I want to win. LOL.

Who is it that said that there is no such thing as a perfect person, just people with perfect intentions? Anyway, being nominated makes me feel good.

I’ve signed a world peace solution petition and have actually set up a petition for you to esign. If you wish to sign a petition for world peace, please go to http://angelcuddlesforpeace.com

Well, I’ll sign off now. I intend to keep my blogs more up to date, now that my computer is more sorted.

Oh, before I go, if you feel that I should have your email address, then let me know at address@sarahp.earthgreenmail.com as I lost my address book when the computer went down.

I was reminded by someone that I hadn’t updated my blogs for a while.

Been so busy that I have neglected my blogs and I smack my wrist.

Here is a little report that I wrote which is also a business in a box.

You may like to download it and feel free to give it away to anyone that you feel may benefit from it.

You can download it here. Don’t forget to save your copy.

Writing Courses

I don’t know about you, I always wanted to be a famous writer. You know, having the reading public hanging on my every word, being interviewed on TV and radio, seeing my latest novel adapted for Hollywood, schmoozing with the cast at the premiere…

Or, at the very least, seeing my name on the front cover of a book! I always knew I *could* do it. After all, you don’t have to write like Charles Dickens anymore to make a fortune as a writer. Look at John Grisham, or Stephen King. So what held me back for so long? Find out here…. Angel cuddles,

Niche Marketing and Online Writing

cherubs on book

One way of profiting from your creative and writing skills is to develop a niche Website.

What is niche marketing?

The phrase seems to mean “making money from websites that are not to do with the ‘how to make money’ subject area.” Niche doesn’t mean that, of course, but internet marketers have come to talk about it as that.

Why a Niche Website?

1) First of all, bear in mind that they are exciting and fun to do. They are
a great way to express your creativity!
2) Your Niche Website is usually about one of your interests or something that you know a lot about. When it is your passion, that makes it easy to talk about and your content will
flow and people will enjoy reading your words and will appreciate having lots of good content.
3) You create your Niche Websites at home, when you want and at your own convenience.
4) Niche Websites can provide very substantial income streams once you have built up your followers.

What will be the theme of your Niche Website?

Your Niche Website should be about one of your passions.

What are your interests? What are your hobbies? Do you have a specific skill or talent? What can you do which will be a benefit for others, or an answer to their problems?

To be successful online, it is important to give your readers a lot of content.

This content must be useful to them and in some way lead to improving their lives.

Share information and knowledge with people.
Have you got a passion? (Mine is writing, which you would never have guessed!)

The theme of your Niche is up to you and that passion!

So, write about your passion or knowledge and you will soon have an interesting and useful niche Website about your interest and can quite easily make a profit from selling books, Adsense, Yahoo, MSN and other items connected to your topic, from affiliate programs, such as Amazon or other bookstores and many other money-making techniques.

Of course, when you create your niche website, you also do an accompanying blog using monetizing techniques. A very good place I can recommend for getting help with blogging and marketing your niche Website and for getting well on your way to making money and
enjoying yourself at the same time is Success Patrol.

About Angel Cuddle Publishing

“When you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” Mark Twain

So when everyone is herding in one direction, I’ll wait for them to go past and then I’ll go in another direction. That is very often the case with me.

Find yourself and be yourself. That is what Angel Cuddle Publishing is all about.

Writing is and always has been my passion.

Of course, my next passion is reading. There are books in just about every room in our house. Some walls are lined with books. I love to read fiction and non-fiction. There is a whole world of imagination and knowledge out there and I’m hungry to enjoy and learn. Life is an ongoing learning process and I intend to gather as much knowledge to me as possible. What about you? On this log I will be sharing my knowledge and experience, in all forms of writing and publishing, and I will be introducing you to my works at Angel Cuddle Publishing. There will also be hardcopy books too. No modern technology can take away the pleasure of handling a book. Books are precious………
